Prey 2017 Restore From Backup Walkthrough Guide
With Morgan acquiring all the voice samples to open the Deep Storage door, it is time for us to make our way to Deep Storage so that we can grab the fabrication plans for the arming key to destroy Talos I, in order to ensure Earth’s safety.
Deep Storage – Retrieve Arming Key Fabrication Plans
Return to Deep Storage Access as you have finally all the voice samples to open the door. Interact with the Deep Storage door to play a string of words and entering Deep Storage will also grant you Open Says She achievement.
As you enter the Deep Storage, Alex will contact you and will lock inside Deep Storage. So, you will move on with your objective which is finding the Arming Key Fabrication Plans stored in the central repository. Now, sneak towards the broken doorway but a turret-wielding Technopath patrols the area. Take care of it and move ahead. The plans you require are inside the central repository which is directly behind the large door beyond the turret. However, to get to the Central Repository you will have to visit Security Booth for the door’s control.
The Security Booth will be locked but you can still open it using your Huntress Boltcaster. Move to the side of the security booth and smash the window using your wrench. Now, shoot the white round button next to the door to open it. Now get inside the security booth and access the security station to download a map of Deep Storage. The terminal will be near the security booth’s entrance that controls the door to the central repository. Simple select “grant access” and the door will open, and when you are finished with the area enter the Central Repository.
Central Data Repository
Central Data Repository is a zero gravity environment and there are quite a few Cystoid Nests inside so maneuver carefully. The location of the hard drive containing the arming key fabrication plans is marked on your hud. So, navigate through the Repository to get them, however, the drive is massive requiring you to carry it with both hands which will leave you vulnerable to attacks. Make sure area is clear before you even think about carrying it.
Now carry the hard drive to the file server, near the repository’s entrance. Attach the drive to the open socket and access the nearby terminal to mount the drive. Once the process is done you can now download the arming key’s fabrication plan from Danielle Sho’s workstation. Now exit the repository and make your way outside the security booth. As you get outside there will be some mimics for you to take care of.
Command Center – Danielle Sho’s Workstation
Once done make your way to the command center through the stairwell. Open the stairwell using the keycode retrieved from Zachary West’s desk. Danielle Sho’s workstation is inside the command center but, it is occupied by multiple Mimics and a Thermal Phantom. Use the turret if you like to dispose of them. Once inside the command center use your GLOO Cannon to put out any fires on the floor. Now access the download station and download the fabrication plans for your arming key.
That is all for our Prey 2017 Restore From Backup Walkthrough Guide with tips on how to retrieve the arming key fabrication plans so you and destroy Talos I.
