Rolycoly is a Rock Type that belongs to the Coal category of Pokemon. Rolycoly’s Egg Group is Mineral and has an overall 240 Base stat which includes HP: 30, Attack: 40, Defense: 50, Special Attack: 40, Special Defense: 50 and Speed: 30, it’s more likely to be a Defensive Pokemon. Which makes it weak against Fighting, Ground, Steel, Water, Grass Type pokemon.

Rolycoly has the same composition as coal. It was found four hundred years ago in coal mines; it is capable of moving over rocky lands with ease.

Rolycoly Abilities
This Pokemon possesses some special abilities such as Steam Engine, Heatproof and Flash Fire.

Steam Engine allows Rolycoly to increase its speed by six stages, whenever hit by a Fire-type or Water-type move.

Due to its Heatproof ability, it deals half the damage caused by Fire-Type attacks.

The last Rolycoly ability “Flash Fire” is a hidden ability that can be activated once the Pokemon is hit by a Fire-Type Attack, which allows its Fire-type moves to deal 1.5 times the damage.

Let’s talk about the Evolution of this Pokemon, Rolycoly evolves from its normal form to Carkol at level 18 and Coalossal at level 34. Rolycoly is originally a Rock-Type Pokemon, but evolving further makes it adapt to the Fire-Type as well.
