Fallout 4 will release later this year on current-gen consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One). On Xbox One, Fallout 4 fans will be getting some custom controllers that look pretty amazing.
However, we haven’t seen similar custom controllers for PlayStation 4. Why is that the case? Bethesda’s Pete Hines has the answer for us.
He was asked about this about a fan, he replied:
@Skythir not everyone has the same policy on third party controllers.

@freshgreenolive presently i don’t believe Sony allows for branded 3rd party standard controllers

@PerceusHawk could you please point me to other 3rd party-created, standard PS4 controllers?

I guess explains why Fallout 4 branded Dualshock 4 controllers aren’t available anywhere. Fallout 4 will release on November 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
On a related note, one of Best Buy’s Black Friday deal for Xbox One has been leaked. Users can pick up a 500 gb Xbox One, Fallout 4, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and an extra controller for $299.99.
It is an amazing offer, and if you’re looking to upgrade to Xbox One, this bundle is without a doubt the best way t do so.
