While the Nvidia RTX 2080 might seem like the new shiny thing on the GPU market right now it seems that all that glitters is not gold. We have seen the reviews and you must have seen them too. While the Nvidia RTX 2080 might seem like the best graphics card on the market right now it seems that the older GTX 1080 Ti is able to beat it in a few games and here we are going to talk about that.

The hardware used for these tests include the Intel Core i7 7700K CPU, Asus Z270 Prime motherboard, 8GB of DDR4 memory, an Intel SSD and an EVGA power supply. There seems to be a difference in performance depending on the resolution and here we are going to look into the instances where the GTX 1080 Ti is able to beat the Nvidia RTX 2080.

The GTX 1080 Ti has a slight edge over the new card in titles like Witcher 3 and PUBG at 4K. What you need to keep in mind is that this is a very specific model that is able to do this but you also need to note that the Nvidia RTX 2080 costs a lot more than the GTX 1080 Ti, even the model from Asus.
