Nvidia 372.70 Driver Released for Battlefield 1, World of Warcraft: Legion

The new Nvidia 372.70 driver has been released by Nvidia, allowing players to have the latest in graphics drivers when they go to play games like Battlefield 1 and World of Warcraft: Legion, the latest expansion in the MMORPG that just came out today. The expansion also come out with a WOW graphics upgrade, making the drivers even more relevant.

Since the Battlefield 1 beta will be releasing tomorrow and Legion just released today, Nvidia putting out the new driver probably picked the best time to do it, especially if PC gamers had been having trouble with WOW and were worried about their computers not being able to do Battlefield 1 full justice.

In addition to Battlefield 1 and World of Warcraft’s Legion expansion, the new Nvidia 372.70 driver is also geared towards Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and the upcoming Steam release of Quantum Break.

Considering that Deus Ex had been getting some criticisms of not running well on PC, this could also help that game in the long run if the drivers are up to snuff.

In addition to making sure that the new games can run well on PCs, the new drivers also have a number of new features on them, such as fast sync for Maxwell GPUs and the Extended, Clone, and Surround multimonitor configurations, making them a good choice if you’re one of those PC gamers that has multiple screens, or a streamer that uses them to keep up with both your chat and your game.

The Nvidia 372.70 driver also fixes a number of problems with Windows 10, 8, and 7 operating systems, including fixing various problems with Fallout 4, high deferred procedure call latency, video corruption after they’re upscaled to normal size, and an issue with the FALCON SUB.X instruction logic updating the system’s overflow flag.

So, if you’re looking forward to one of those games and want the latest drivers to play on it, you should get the 372.70 as soon as possible.
