The same meeting confirmed that Nintendo NX will release during March 2017. Specs and other details will arrive later this year but the system won’t be at E3 2016.

For our dedicated video game platform business, Nintendo is currently developing a gaming platform codenamed “NX” with a brand-new concept. NX will be launched in March 2017 globally

Also, The Legend of Zelda game is being ported to NX as well. It was originally suppose to release on Wii U exclusively. The game has been delayed on a couple of occasions, quality assurance cited as the reason behind them.

Nintendo isn’t doing too well right now as its profits fell by 61%. Its last hope of making a comeback in the gaming industry right now is Nintendo NX. Many developers include Koei Tecmo is developing for it which is a good sign. Lack of third party support was the one of the reasons Wii U failed miserably.

Pre orders for the device aren’t available in U.S or U.K but an Australian retailer started taking pre orders with a placeholder price of $999. Head over here to read up more on that.
