Nintendo Gamescom 2017 Lineup Revealed, Includes Super Mario Odyssey, Metroid And More

Gamescom 2017 is just a couple of weeks away and developers and publishers are gearing up to showcase their upcoming games at the event. Nintendo will also be present at Gamescom 2017 and the company has revealed its game lineup that it will showcase at the annual event.

Nintendo’s lineup for Gamescom 2017 will be headlined by Nintendo Switch’s upcoming Super Mario Odyssey. The live stream will be hosted by game producer Yoshiaki Koizumi on August 23rd at 8 am Pacific time. Those who will be present at the event will get ot try out the Metro Kingdom and Sand Kingdom levels of Super Mario Odyssey.

Furthermore, Nintendo will also showcase Metroid: Samus Returns for the Nintendo 3DS the next day on August 24 at 5 am Pacific Time and creative director Jose Luis Marquez and producer Yoshio Sakamto will host the live stream. Other titles include Xenoblade Chronicles and Fire Emblem Warriors but, no specific time has been revealed for these titles.

Also, those who will be present at the event will also get to try the Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Pokken Tournament DX. Nintendo will also bring 3DS titles to Gamescom 2017 which includes Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions.

THQ Nordic will also be present at GamesCom 2017 and it will be announcing an original new IP at the event and describes it as an open world RPG set in a unique universe and will be a post-apocalyptic kung-fu fable. The second announcement will be “a new installment of a well-known, mysterious and horrific IP.”

Konami will also bring its titles to the event including its annual soccer title PES 2018 and the upcoming Metal Gear Survive. Both of these titles will be playable at the event.

Gamescom 2017 will start on August 22. 2017, and will continue till August 26 in Cologne.
