We all hate waking up early in the morning, especially, as a gamer, gaming journalist, and game developer our routine is usually very different from our fellow humans of Planet Earth. But what if our hate for early mornings lead to the cancelation of a video game? Well, this almost happened with Nier Automata.
Nier Automata creator Yokotaro is one of those who hates waking up early in the morning. Yokotoro confirmed the new over at his Twitter page; whether he was being serious or not, this is still incredibly interesting.

Fans want to see Nier Automata 2 but considering how this man hates waking up early, Nier Automata 2 might be far away from release. In fact, it might never happen but if it does, it requires a tremendous sacrifice from Yokotoro.
The game has been highly successful, breaking the four million mark in a matter of months. The success of Nier Automata pretty much ensures there will be another game in the series. At this point, it is safe to say the next game will be a next-generation exclusive.
Nier Automata is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
