New What Remains of Edith Finch Trailer Finally Open up About the Game

What Remains of Edith Finch was announced last year at Sony’s PSX in December as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. Howeve, the developers have been awfully quiet about it so far.

That was until Ian Dallas the Creative Director for the game at Giant Sparrow had not taken to the official PlayStation EU Blog with a post and a new trailer for the game.

Dallas says that until now they were not ready to show off anything but now, E3 2015 will even bring a demo for the beginning of What Remains of Edith Finch. While discussing the lack of images as well, he said:

It’s hard to sum up the game in a screenshot because the game is a collection of short stories. Each of those stories is about the death of a different Finch family member and each is meant to look and feel different from the others, the way no two people in any family are alike.

The developers say that What Remains of Edith Finch is, in a nutshell, “a surreal experience that’s grounded in a familiar world” and that is what they are trying to show us in the trailer above.

See it and tell us if they succeeded!
