New Playstation 4 Pro Trailer Boasts About Dynamic 4K Games

Sony has released a new Playstation 4 Pro trailer that talks up all of the cool 4K games that Playstation fans will be able to play in glorious 4K resolution when they arrive. These games included things like Gran Turismo Sport, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and MLB The Show 17.

While only two of these games, Horizon Zero Dawn and MLB The Show, have come out so far, all of these other upcoming games will likely look just as good when they come out for the Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro, especially since Sony appears to be hitting its stride with the Pro nowadays.

However, the new Playstation 4 Pro trailer did include a caveat in the form of an asterisk: that the actual graphics you’d be seeing on the Playstation 4 Pro depended on your actual hardware. So, if you have a Playstation 4 instead of a Playstation 4 Pro, the game won’t look as good.

Not to mention, even if you do have a Playstation 4 Pro, how good the game will look then will actually depend on your TV. While it will already look good in 1080p, it will, of course, look even better in 4K resolution.

While the new Playstation 4 Pro trailer does do its best to wow people (and can succeed depending on your choice of console), some fans of Gran Turismo and God of War may be wondering exactly when Gran Turismo Sport and God of War 4 will actually be releasing.

While we haven’t gotten a confirmed release date for any of them, with E3 coming up in a few weeks we’ll hopefully get both of them when Playstation holds its own conference at the event.
