New NVIDIA 368.22 WHQL Drivers Optimize Overwatch and Warhammer

With games on PC getting more and more graphics-intensive all the time, it makes sense that companies will be making better driver systems in order to ensure that the computers of their customers can handle it.

Now, with the release of the NVIDIA 368.22 WHQL drivers, PC gamers will be ready to handle upcoming games like Overwatch, Total War: Warhammer, and new updates for War Thunder and World of Tanks.

Overwatch and Total War: Warhammer are two of the hottest PC games that are coming up in the next week, one being Blizzard’s new team-based first-person shooter game while the other is the latest offering from Creative Assembly that takes place in the (now defunct) Warhammer Fantasy Battles universe. Both games come out tomorrow on the PC, with Overwatch also being released on the Xbox One and the Playstation 4.

War Thunder and World of Tanks, though both free-to-play team-based vehicle battle games, can also be somewhat stressful on PCs, and so the NVIDIA GeForce 368.22 WHQL drivers can also be handy when PC players want to play them instead. The two games, which both focus around World War 2 as you take on enemy teams in the sky and on the ground in planes and tanks, have both been highly popular in the free-to-play market, enough that other games such as World of Warships have also been released.

NVIDIA has paid special attention to Total War fans as well, and earlier had addressed concerns that the drivers would not be ready in time for the game’s release. They said that they were closely cooperating with Creative Assembly to resolve the latest issues encountered in testing, and also recommended that players download the latest version of the drivers and always be aware of updates.

The NVIDIA 368.22 WHQL drivers are already available for download as well, so if you want to play either Overwatch or Total War: Warhammer you should probably hurry and download it before the games become fully available.
