New Datamined Fortnite Cosmetics Include Scuba Diving Gear And More

The upcoming v5.1.0 patch in Epic Games’ famous battle royale title reveals the launch of several cool items coming to the store tomorrow. The new Fortnite cosmetics datamined from the game’s files seem to have three themes, Scuba diving, espionage and a more casual punk look.

The company hasn’t made anything official, yet that doesn’t stop dataminers from getting the news to us early. There’s no information about changes on the map or new gameplay items, so the Fortnite cosmetics will have to suffice for now.

As with all previous Fortnite cosmetics, these ones too come in four different rarities, which determines their overall quality. Their pictures in the store, as well as their names, have been revealed on Here’s the full gallery of upcoming Fortnite cosmetics (they might not be all included in v5.1.0 patch):

Epic Games is consistent with bringing new content to Fortnite regularly. New weapons, terraforming the island map, new cosmetics and tweaks are made public every week for the past year.

Speaking of years, Fortnite is having its first anniversary this summer, with the birthday festivities starting tomorrow, along with the v5.1.0 patch. During that time (July 24-August 4) you’ll be able to complete birthday challenges and quests in-game in order to get sweet rewards. Here are the challenges and their rewards:

  • Deal 1,000 damage to opponents to unlock the Fortnite Birthday! Emoticon
  • Dance at different birthday cakes to unlock the Happy Birthday! Spray
  • Play 14 matches to unlock 5,000 XP.
  • Complete all 3 challenges to earn the Birthday Cake Back Bling

We don’t know yet what other changes the new v5.1.0 patch on Fortnite will bring, however, a Reddit post suggests that the Slurp Juice will get buffed, granting you one health and one shield per second for 25 seconds, giving a total of 25 health and 25 shield.
