New Darksiders 3 Gameplay Hints At RPG Elements, Fury Leveling, Loot, Fast Travel

Darksiders 3 has just been announced to be coming out later this year and we have got a new trailer. It was about time if you ask me. People have been waiting for a long time and it had been a year since the announcement trailer was released. We got 11 minutes of Darksiders 3 gameplay and even though the person recording the game took his/her time recording the game, we did get to see some new things that are worth noting.

Vulgrim is back in Darksiders 3 and it seems that there will be a leveling system for Fury as well as other RPG elements. We see that when Fury feeds Vulgrim souls, the bar fills up and we see a level up notification as well as an attribute point. This could mean that players will be able to customize the different attributes of Fury and it will be like the skill points in Fallout or any other RPG game.

Players can also buy and sell items from the vendor. Souls again are the commodity that you will be using and you can sell items to gain souls or buy items in exchange for souls. It will be interesting to see how many souls the player is able to get as it is being used both for leveling as well as buying items. From the looks of things, there should be plenty of souls as they are used in abundance.

Serpent holes are coming back from what we see in the Darksiders 3 gameplay, this is not something new, war used these as well and they will be the means of fast traveling through the map. We also have a look at Sloth. This seems to be the mission where we encounter him. Sloth is the only deadly sin that we have seen so far. In the Darksiders 3 gameplay, we can see him in the distance and it appears to be the mission where we have to reach him in order to defeat him.

In the short gameplay video, we see that there are plenty of items lying around for you to pick up and there should be plenty of items at the end of the game for trading. Other than that we also see Fury healing herself by using shards, another element that is not new but is worth noting. The objects in the environment can be interacted with and we see that Fury can pull things towards her to use in combat as well as to solve puzzles.
