July 19 will be a special day for many Call of Duty fans if you keep your ear to the ground at Comic Con. Apparently, San Diego Comic Con will be hosting a panel of Treyarch developers that will give some information about the game along with some new Black Ops 4 Zombies content.
The developer panel also includes a tease of special never-before-seen images of of the game mode, along with a number of exciting announcements. We’ll likely get an actual trailer for the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 zombies content, which has yet to get any sort of trailer even when the game was first announced.
Zombies will be one of the three main game modes in Black Ops 4, alongside regular multiplayer and the upcoming Battle Royale mode called Blackout, as there won’t be any story mode in Black Ops 4. Though at the same time, the Zombies game mode will likely have its own form of story, as many of the modes have at least some sort of framing device that brings our heroes into those odd situations.
Call of Duty WW2’s zombies mode was more grounded, as it focused around the players being sent on missions to various areas in order to deal with issues of Nazi science that was attempting to create an army of the living dead in order to win the war. Treyarch’s Zombies mode has always been less serious and more outlandish, and going by stuff that we’ve seen from a recent tweet by the studio, Black Ops 4 might not be no exception.
Either way, even if you can’t go to Comic Con this year, we’ll likely be seeing something about the new Black Ops 4 zombies content sometime in the near future around July 19. Black Ops 4 itself will be releasing on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on October 12 of this year.
