NBA 2K14 MyPlayer Customization and MyCareer Guide

MyPlayer and MyCareer in NBA 2K14 offer a lot of customization options to the players. We have this guide for each section.

Like in its predecessors; NBA 2K14 brings back character creation with ‘MyPLAYER’. ‘MyPLAYER’ can be accessed by pressing ‘Start’ on the Main Menu. There are around 36 characters (Pre-made) that players can opt for.

Head Customization
Players can customize the head of their player in a number of ways by adjusting the slider provided. Furthermore, they can reset all the settings to default and choose a random head.

Alias
After completing the creation of your player; you will be asked to provide a name to your player and get him on the playing field.

MyCAREER
After you have successfully completed customizing ‘MyPLAYER’, you will be asked to assign them a nickname, Dunk Hand, year of birth, and other details.

Interviews Sessions
After completing the Rookie Showcase; an interview session will begin; resulting in your recruitment in professional teams. After a successful interview session; drafting will begin by the end of which you will be placed in a team.

While you are in your Rookie year; you can’t talk terms your contract. However, if you resign from one team and sign contract from another; you would be able to negotiate on various terms.

Once you have successfully done it all; you would be able to start your season and improve your skills.
