Monster Hunter: World Spring Blossom Guide

There are 3 new items available in the event which stand out from all of the rest. They are the Butterfly Armor Set, the Greatsword known as Wyvern Ignition, and the Blossom Armor Set.

All of them have a new look which will surely a tempt a lot of players to get their hands on them before the rest. Let us go ahead and take a look at how to acquire each of the aforementioned items as you traverse the world of Monster Hunter: World.

How to Get Butterfly or the Queen Beetle Armor Set

In order to get this set, you will need a few materials so that you can craft it. All that you need is a Spring Insect Field Guide, a Great Hornfly, a Vespoid Shell, and the Monster Fluid. This can be used to craft the Vertex, Thorax, Elytra, and Crura.

However, before you do that, you need to find complete the ‘Vespoid Infestation’ arena challenge.

For your Starting Weapon, it is best to have the Insect Glaive. Make your way to the arena and ignore the Pukei-Pukei when you see it. Try to stay on the upper side of the arena and run in a circle as you kill the Vespoids as they spawn.

Once you have taken care of 30 Vespoids, you will have completed the challenge. This will give you the Spring Insect Field Guide that can be used to unlock the Armor Set.

How to Get Blossom Armor Set

The Blossom Armor set is available in 2 different variants of High and Low rank and you can see it as soon as you log-in.

You need to find an Earth Crystal to craft each of the pieces along with a Spring Blossom Ticket for the low-rank. For the high-rank variant, you need to find Carbalite Ore along with three different Spring Blossom Tickets for each piece. Here are the armor skills for each of the pieces:

  • Vest: Quick Sheath
  • Boots: Recovery Speed
  • Coat: Scoutfly Range Up
  • Headgear: Honey Hunter
  • Cuffs: Paralysis Resistance

How to Get the Wyvern Ignition Greatsword

First of all, complete the ‘Every Hunter’s Dream’ quest. It is available in the ‘Event’ tab and requires you being HR 8 or higher to attempt.

You need to defeat two monsters in order to complete it. After that, you need to take the Master Craftsman’s Blueprints to the forge and unlock the Greatsword known as Wyvern Ignition Steel.

The materials that you require to craft the sword are 2 Master Craftsman’s Blueprints, 7 Dragonite Ores, 2 Rathalos Marrows, 2 Paolumu Webbing, and 8000Z.
