Middle-earth: Shadow of War Boss Fight Could Be Hated For Being Too Epic?

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is one of the most anticipated games of the year and it has a lot to live up to keeping in mind that it is a sequel to Shadow of Mordor. While Shadow of Mordor was a great game and it was loved by everyone I think it is safe to say that the final boss fight was not all that great.

Sauron was pretty easy to defeat in the first game and that was disappointing keeping mind he is the dark lord and is the ultimate baddy in the Lord of the Rings universe. It seems that the developers will be making the best out of the Middle-earth: Shadow of War boss fight this time.

The developers have learned from their mistakes and Monolith’s design director Bob Roberts talked about Middle-earth: Shadow of War boss fight at PAX West. According to him:

“I think people will be really happy with this ending. Well, maybe they’ll hate it for being too epic.”

That is indeed a very bold statement to make and that makes it clear that the team is very confident with what they have done. No details were shared regarding what would make the final boss fight so epic but if I was to guess, I would say that it is going to be pretty hard this time. With the game being a month away from release I guess we will find out in a while.

Another interesting aspect of the upcoming game is that fan-favorite villain Shelob, will be taking the form of a woman instead of a giant spider and that is something that I am looking forward to.
