Microsoft E3 2019 Press Conference to Showcase 14 Xbox Game Studios Games

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has revealed that there will be 14 Xbox Game Studios titles to discuss at Microsoft E3 2019 press conference this year.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has confirmed that Microsoft E3 2019 press conference will have a lot of first-party games to show off. To be exact, there will be 14 Xbox Game Studios titles to talk about at Microsoft E3 2019 press conference. This information was confirmed recently by Phil Spencer in a Tweet.

Just finishing our final E3 rehearsal here with the team in Redmond. Feel really good about the briefing. Lots to show. We have 14 Xbox Game Studios games in the show this year, more first party games than we’ve ever had in the show. Fun times, said Spencer.

The statement confirms that Microsoft is indeed going big this year. Of course, Spencer doesn’t say anything about these games. Given the list of Microsoft exclusive Xbox Game Studios, we are likely to witness some great games at the event.

Microsoft exclusive Xbox Game Studios

Microsoft E3 2019 list of Xbox Game Studios is as follows. Most of these studios were acquired by Microsft in 2018.

  • inXile Entertainment (known for Wasteland series)
  • 343 Industries (Halo franchise)
  • Obsidian Entertainment ((Fallout: New Vegas and the upcoming The Outer Worlds)
  • The Initiative
  • Turn 10 Studios (Forza Motorsport series)
  • Undead Labs (State of Decay)
  • Compulsion Games
  • The Coalition (Gears of War series)
  • Mojang (Minecraft)
  • Ninja Theory (DmC: Devil May Cry and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice)
  • Playground Games (Forza Horizon series)
  • Rare (Sea of Thieves)

As for the confirmed games, InXile Entertainment’s Wasteland 3 will be present at the conference. Further, 343 Industries has confirmed that Halo Infinite (Halo 5) will be at Microsoft E3 2019. Halo Infinite, without a doubt, will be the center of attraction at E3. It’s possible that we get to see Halo Infinite gameplay during the event along with a release date reveal.

Aside from Halo 5, The Outer Worlds will receive new gameplay and possibly a release date at the upcoming event. Other announced games like Battletoads, Minecraft World, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Gears Pop and Gears Tactics are also expected to be shown at Microsoft’s E3 2019 2-hour long keynote.

There are also rumors that Ninja Theory will show a new sci-fi game called Bleeding Edge at E3. Fable 4 by Playground Games is also rumored to be shown at the event. We can do nothing but speculate at the moment.

Of course, we are not forgetting Gears of War 5 (Gears 5), which was shown with a trailer at E3 last year. Microsoft has finally confirmed that Gears 5 will be present at the upcoming event. The head of The Coalition Rod Fergusson will be part of E3 Coliseum panel to discuss the upcoming game with Geoff Keighley. In short, Gears 5 will take most of the time during Xbox’s presser.

Apart from games, Microsoft is expected to talk about its next-generation console Xbox Scarlett, which is rumored to launch sometime in 2021. Furthermore, Microsoft will also talk about Project xCloud and Xbox Game Pass service for PC at the upcoming event.

With that said, be prepared to watch Microsoft E3 2019 press-conference live on June 9 at 1 PM PT, 4 PM ET and 9 PM BST. Interested folks can check out full E3 2019 schedule from our detailed article.
