Metro Exodus Dev Threatens PC Gamers With No More PC Games If They Boycott

A Metro Exodus dev has threatened the PC community that there won't be any PC games in the future if PC gamers boycott Metro Exodus.

PC gamers weren’t happy with 4A Games making Matro Exodus PC an Epic Store exclusive. This caused quite a backlash from the PC community. Now, a Metro Exodus dev has threatened that there won’t be any PC games in the future if PC gamers boycott Metro Exodus.

The developer by the username of “scynet” took to Gameinator forums to basically threaten PC gamers. The site is in Russian so the translation is a bit hard to understand. The Metro Exodus dev started with that he understands why players are frustrated.

However, the developer was quick to criticize those who are review bombing Metro games. He then proceeded to threaten the PC community saying that there won’t be any PC games in the future from 4A Games if the PC community boycotts Metro Exodus.

if at all all the PC players announce a boycott of the Metro, then the next metro, if it does, is definitely not on the PC. Better or worse, decide for yourself. I personally feel sorry for the loyal fans, yes. But my assessment of the work done personally by me and my friends and colleagues will not change this

Now, there is still uncertainty regarding the fact that if the developer actually represents the thoughts and feelings of the entire 4A Games.

But, threatening PC gamers won’t get you anywhere. Also, there is still no official statement from publisher Deep Silver or developer 4A Games regarding this threatening statement from one of their employees.

I myself is a fan of Metro Series and I just love these games. Like other fans, I was disappointed with the game being made exclusive to the Epic Games Store.

But reading this threatening statement from a Metro Exodus dev has made me question that if I want to buy the game day one or just wait a year when the game is available on Steam.

4A Games has assured that it will honor the pre-orders. Those who pre-purchased the game on Steam will get the game but, those who pre-ordered the Physical version of Metro Exodus on PC will get an Epic Store key and fans aren’t happy about it.

Metro Exodus is a first-person survival game developed by 4A Games. The game is scheduled to launch on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
