Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Coins Farming Guide

Our Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Coins Farming Guide is here to help you farm a ton of in-game Coins without putting in a whole lot of effort in order to acquire all available unlockables in the game.

As opposed to the Wii U version of the game, most of the things i.e. characters, courses, modes, and kart parts in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Edition are available from the get-go. However, this does not mean that you do not have anything at all to unlock.

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Edition, kart parts i.e. Bodies, Wheels, and Gliders unlock as you continue to collect in-game Coins. Coins in the game are scattered all across the courses.

These parts randomly unlock for every 30 Coins collected that increases to 50 Coins after the 500 Coins milestone. Therefore, if you want all twenty-three Karts, seventeen Bikes, twenty-one Wheels, and fourteen Gliders, you will need these coin farming techniques.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Coins Farming

Firstly, start a Multiplayer Match and select ‘Versus Race Mode’. Once done, select Luigi as your character and select the +/- button in order to turn on Auto-Acceleration and Auto-Steering. This will allow your Luigi(s) to complete the race while collecting coins without you controlling them. You also need to make sure that both the characters have different speed and acceleration. Once you are done with your kart selection, use the following Race Settings:

  • 200cc Race
  • Teams – No Teams
  • Items – No Items
  • COM – No COM
  • COM Vehicles – All Vehicles
  • Courses – Choose
  • Race Count – 48 Races

For the course, the Moo Moo Meadows is the perfect course for maximum gain. At the end of a race, you will find yourself back at the Race Selection Screen so press ‘A’ twice to get back into another race. Completing a race should not take a whole lot of time and net you around 3-6 Coins on average. You can also try different courses but the Moo Moo Meadows is certainly the best one out there. Lastly, all the credits for finding this farming method goes to NintendoLife.
