Pokemon Magikarp Jump Events

Below is a list of all the events that occur in Magikarp Jump and their requirements

Old Rod

Magikarp encounters a bit of fruit under water. You can decide whether or not to approach it. If not, you get Jump Power. If you do and you succeed, you get more Jump Power. If you do and you don’t succeed, you lose Magikarp.

You need to complete the Fast League in order to unlock it.

Nugget

You receive Coins scaled to your level.

You need to complete the Quick League in order to unlock it.

Is It Treasure?

You find a Poké Ball in the road. You can choose if Magikarp opens it or not. If no, you will receive Jump Power. If you do, there’s a chance of finding Coins, items or a Voltorb which will explode and make you lose your Magikarp.

You need to complete the Quick League in order to unlock it.

Out of Nowhere…

You find a tree with berries on. You can choose if Magikarp should jump to get it or not. If no, you will receive Jump Power. If you do, you can get Jump Power if Magikarp succeeds or a Pidgeotto appears and you lose your Magikarp.

You need to complete the Friend League in order to unlock it.

Idol Riches

The mayor appears with compliments. He then gives you a workout drink.

You need to complete the Heavy League in order to unlock it.

Massage a Karp

Mayor Karp massages your Magikarp, restoring a training point.

Everyone’s Hero

A fan comes to ask for words of encouragement. You gain Jump Power or a free Training attempt.

This event randomly occurs after the League Battles.

Roddy Tackle

A fisherman comes and offers words of encourangement. You get Coins.

You need to complete the Quick League in order to unlock it.

Unsinkable Magikarp

A fan comes and gives encouragement. You gain Jump Power or a free Training attempt.

This event randomly occurs after the League Battles.

Go, Magikarp, Go!

Mr. Yoso will come up with a message from a fan. It will be accompanied by coins.

You need to complete the Quick League in order to unlock it.

All That Glitters

A mysterious sparkling item appears in the ocean. You can choose if Magikarp investigates or not. If no, you get Jump Power. If yes, you have a chance of either getting Coins, items or Magikarp could lose some gained Jump Power from its activity.

You need to complete the Friend League in order to unlock it.

Jumping Lesson

You get approached to enter a special Jump Course. You can decline or enter at a risk. If you decline you get Jump Power. If you succeed, you get a lot more Jump Power. If you lose, you lose some of your gained Jump Power.

You need to complete the Fast League in order to unlock it.

Mystery Drink

A scientist approaches you with a new miracle drink. You can decline or test the drink. If you decline, you get Jump Power. If you accept and succeed, you get a lot more Jump Power. If you lose, you lose some of your gained Jump Power.

You need to complete the Great League in order to unlock it.

Magikarp Adrift

Magikarp moved too far away from you and needs to find its way back. You gain Jump Power if you tell it to wait, or you may lose Jump Power if you tell it to search.

You need to complete the Quick League in order to unlock it.

Snoozing with Snorlax

Your Snorlax is blocking the path while sleeping. Magikarp goes to sleep on its belly and you collect full Training Points.

You need to complete the Quick League and have Snorlax as your Support Pokemon in order to unlock it.

Tag Battle

A Pidgeotto attacks and Pikachu steps in to defend Magikarp. You gain Jump Power.

You need to complete the Friend League and have Pikachu as your Support Pokemon in order to unlock it.

Showing off Magikarp

A fan comes by and wants to see Magikarp Jump. You get a Training.

You need to complete the Luxury League in order to unlock it.

Sage Advice

Veteran magikarp comes to comfort your current magikarp and give it advice after losing. Gains JP.

Trade for Gyarados

A scientist approaches you and asks to trade your Magikarp for Gyarados. You automatically decline, resulting in receiving Jump Power.

You need to complete the Luxury League in order to unlock it.

Lost Luvdisc

A Luvdisc will appear and ask for your assistance. It will give you Diamonds..

You need to complete the Fast League in order to unlock it.

Easygoing Slowpoke

You met a Slowpoke on your way home! Regains all training points

Watch and Learn

After training, you will be approached by a character who commends you on your training. You’ll get give one free training regime.

You need to complete the Fast League in order to unlock it.

Slacker Magikarp

Magikarp is feeling weak and wants to skip training. If you don’t scald it, you gain Jump Power. If you scold it, you may gain Jump Power or lose gained Jump Power.

You need to complete the Quick League in order to unlock it.

Macho Karp

A scientist will request help with an experiment. If you decline, you get Jump Power. If you say yes, you have a chance of losing your Magikarp as it evolves into Gyarados.

You need to complete the Great League in order to unlock it.

Fan Mail

Mayor Karp delivers a letter from a fan. It gives you an item such as League Spray.

You need to complete the Fast League in order to unlock it.

A Challenge

Mayor Karp delivers a letter from your next opponent. It gives you additional Jump Power.

You need to complete the Great League in order to unlock it.

Many Wise Words

The mayor appears and gives various anecdotes about Magikarp..

Is It Feebas?

Feebas will sometimes swim into the aquarium. Tap it for Jump Power.

This event randomly occurs while viewing the Home Screen.

Food Fever

Manaphy will sometimes swim into the aquarium. Tap it to start a festa where lots of Pokémon will swim in and leave you food.

This event randomly occurs while viewing the Home Screen.

Be Gone!

A ghost girl will appear when you finish training after you’ve done these various steps next to this box. If you choose “Stay,” the dialogue will repeat and make no changes. If you choose “Leave” then your Magikarp will receive 1 bonus max level.

Tap on the TV on the Home Pond. When the screen appears, tap cancel. Rinse and repeat and then statics will appear on the TV. Continue to do the same step as before until the TV is normal again. Next, train your Magikarp and this event will be triggered.

Hop, Skip & Whump!

In your pond, Magikarp will jump up in the air and a wild Pidgeotto will grab your Magikarp, and you lose your Magikarp! You will have to fish for a new Magikarp.

In your pond, tap into the air to make Magikarp jump up in the air numerous times, until the random event triggers.

You Can Do It!

Magikarp is feeling low from his recent losing streak, Roddy Tackle appears to commend

Magikarp on his persistence and rewards the trainer with 3x LP Restore.

Lose 3 league battles in a row.

Adios, Gyarados!

Magikarp evolves into a Gyarados. You will lose your Magikarp! You will have to fish for a new Magikarp.

You need to have a Magikarp whose current level is 19 or greater. Tap numerous times on your Magikarp in your pond until you get the message that your Everstone (prevents Magikarp from evolving) has cracked! Then keep training your Magikarp until it reaches its next level of 20 or greater. Once it reaches its next level, Magikarp will evolve into a Gyarados.
