The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild Wins GOTY at DICE Awards 2018

The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild generated about $1.4 billion in the US since its inception. Breath of the Wild has taken the series to new heights and while its fan base only seemed to grow there was no doubt that this game would be taking away major Awards and that it did.

The 21st DICE Awards that just wrapped up, gave away four awards to Breath Of the Wild letting the game carve its name in history. The Awards were voted over by 30,000 members of the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences.

Breath Of the Wild has been awarded four awards that include; Game of the Year, Outstanding Achievement In Game Direction, Outstanding Achievement in Game Design and Adventure Game of the Year award.

It was not a shocker, most of the gaming community had its expectations set on this game. The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of the Wild has been critically acclaimed and not only that the other game developers too have been praising the game and that includes the Overwatch director as well.

Overwatch game director, Jeff Kaplan, said the game is a masterpiece to which many also agree.

At DICE Awards, Horizon won Outstanding Technical Achievement Award and Outstanding Achievement in Story award. The game Cuphead also won multiple awards, the Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition award, Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction award and Outstanding Achievement in Animation award.

Well talking about awards and games we certainly cannot leave the critically acclaimed online game PUBG. The online multiplayer battle royale game PUBG won the Outstanding Achievement in Online Gameplay award. With that said, the Fire Emblem Heroes won the Mobile Game of the Year Award and Metroid Samus Returns won the Handheld Game of the Year.
