Throughout their journey across Hyrule, players will use many weapons and armors in Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. Unfortunately, all this equipment has the potential to lose durability and finally break down. This Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Inventory guide will help players in increasing their inventory capacity so they can carry more items in their backpack without having to worry about going to vendors and selling stuff.
Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Inventory
To increase the inventory size, players need to complete The Priceless Maracas quest. The quest can be found if players cross the Kakariko Bridge after passing through the Dueling Peaks. After crossing the bridge, players need to follow the path as it curves east towards Pillars of Levia.
An NPC named Hetsu will be standing to the right side of the path just as it curves east. He needs help as his maracas have been stolen by some Bokoblins and players need to track them down. The Bokoblins didn’t make it too far so you can easily find their location and retrieve the maracas.
After starting the quest, players need to continue up the path and turn right into a small opening. Defeating the enemies in the area will allow players to open up a loot chest which contains the stolen maracas of Hetsu.
Once players have the maracas, they can return them to Hetsu and he will ask them for some Korok Seeds.
If you have the seeds then good for you but if you don’t then keep in mind that Korok Seeds come from Koroks that are hidden in different places and you can find them during your journey through Hyrule.
They can be under rocks, around trees, floating on water. In short, if you find things out of place then you’re in the right spot. Once you’ve found Koroks, you can acquire a Korok Seed from it.
Giving the seeds to Hetsu will expand the player’s Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild inventory size by one.
Players can continue to give more seeds to Hetsu to expand their inventory although the cost increases each time.
A melee weapon, bow, or shield inventory slot only costs one Korok Seed but the numbers increase each time. Meaning, if you unlocked a weapon slot on your first try for one seed then the next time it will cost you two seeds and so on.
Once players have expanded their inventory twice at this location, Hetsu will move and head north to Korok Forest so if players need to expand further, they can find him there.
