Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Maps and Battle Royale Leaked

A huge leak shows the release of multiple Call of Duty: Modern Warfare maps. Battle royale and zombies also hinted in the game's files.

A big leak about new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare maps has surfaced recently, claiming that there are more than 30 maps coming to the yearly addition to the franchise. In addition, another leaker suggests that battle royale is coming to Modern Warfare along with a brand new Zombies mode.

Users have posted the leaks and have found files within their Modern Warfare files and that indicate their authenticity. However, sometimes developers throw in experimental elements just to stress test them and see if they fit in the game. Whatever the case though, this is not your standard daily rumor.

With fans finding 38 brand new maps, you can see that Infinity Ward is taking their role on the annual franchise seriously. The development team was quick to address matters regarding the game’s stability and has already made the experience better in only a few days.

In addition to the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare maps, files have been found indicating the existence of battle royale and Zombies in Modern Warfare. Data miner That1MiningGuy shared a mass collection of leaked files on Twitter, including files indicating a BR mode is happening. Also, something related to Zombies is mentioned, although those files don’t share more information.

The fact that battle royale and zombies might be coming to the recent CoD title makes things even more exciting. It’s no secret that players do love to practice their skills in Zombies and Battle Royale from time to time.

Last year with Black Ops 4, we’ve seen that players weren’t exactly ready to appreciate a battle royale mode since it came with an absence of a classic campaign. Having one game housing all essential parts of Call of Duty means a title that can finally stand tall to the expectations.

With more authentic gunplay, Activision and Infinity Ward can hope the new Battle Royale mode to be a better success than Call of Duty Blackout. And if Activision decides to make Modern Warfare Battle Royale free to play, that would be another plus.
