Kabal And D’vorah Revealed For Mortal Kombat 11 Roster

There’s still a lot of room for speculation on what the final Mortal Kombat 11 roster will be. Several different leaks on the subject have surfaced over the past few months. We do have some new confirmations though, including one that I’m very pleased to hear. Kabal has been added to the Mortal Kombat 11 roster. D’vorah was also confirmed for Mortal Kombat 11, both characters having made their last appearances in MK 9 and MK X respectively.

The video above is a showcase of Kabal’s kit, abilities, fatal move, and fatality. Best to not watch the last honestly. Because it’s violent you ask? Hell no, because it’s a spoiler. Better to find out the fatality in-game itself.

Alongside Kabal, D’vorah was confirmed for Mortal Kombat 11 as well, not via video though justt a screenshot.

You may remember D’vorah as the insect queen/mother from Mortal Kombat X. I have a bit of salt against her for killing Mileena, one of my favorite Mortal Kombat girls. Though her absence in MK 11 has been made up for with Skarlet’s return.

Kabal, on the other hand, was a MK 3 character originally, but he’s fresher from in our memory due to his MK 9 appearance. It’s good to see him come back as the burnt bandit of high-speed beat-downs and cutlery.

These two aren’t alone in being recent reveals for the Mortal Kombat 11 roster though. Kano was also revealed not very long ago. All three of these characters share the potential of bloodthirsty violence in common.

We’ve only gotten a video reveal for Kabal though. His fighting style utilizes close to mid range with a few cross-screen dash attacks. One we’re familiar with from Mortal Kombat 9. The utilization of his signature hook blades in this game is absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to see what kind of variations we can make out of him.

Mortal Kombat 11 releases April 23rd on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The Nintendo Switch release date remains unconfirmed.
