June Playstation Plus Games Announced: XCOM 2, Trials Fusion, Ghost Recon

The June Playstation Plus games have been announced by Playstation, meaning that players will be able to pick a large number of different games to play for free on their Playstation 4 or various other Playstation consoles, and some of the biggest ones are XCOM 2, Trials Fusion, and Ghost Recon Future Soldier.

To start off, we have Firaxis’s turn-based strategy game XCOM 2, the sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown. A fast-paced and intense game with a lot of DLC to enhance the experience, XCOM 2 is sure to be a great experience for any Playstation 4 owner.

Next is Trials Fusion, a driving game with a lot of different challenging courses as you careen across a variety of slopes and ramps on a motorcycle. Trials Fusion got a crossover game with Far Cry: Blood Dragon called Trials of the Blood Dragon, and its challenge and huge amount of user-created content will likely keep you playing for a while.

For the Playstation 3, we have Zombie Driver HD and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Zombie Driver is a driving game that takes place in a zombie apocalypse, where you run over zombies for points. It’s sort of a less psychotic Carmageddon, allowing you to run over crowds of…”people”…without any sort of guilt. Ghost Recon Future Soldier is a third-person shooter game set in the Tom Clancy universe, where players take control of an elite squad of American soldiers aiming to stop a newly ultranationalist Russian government from starting a third World War.

The Playstation Vita games in the June Playstation Plus games are Atomic Ninjas and Squares, though they’re not as impressive as the console games. Atomic Ninjas is a 2.5D competitive shooter and platformer, where you have to knock your friends around while accomplishing objectives, while Squares is a puzzle reflex game that might at least challenge your brain somewhat.

All of these June Playstation Plus games will be available on the first Tuesday in June, so be on the lookout for them and pick up any of the current Playstation Plus games if you haven’t by now.
