Jump Force Ultimate Edition Cracked A Few Days Before Launch

Those who pre-ordered the Jump Force Ultimate Edition got to play the game 3 days before its official launch. However, hackers took the opportunity and cracked Jump Force Ultimate Edition a few days before its official launch.

Hacker group 3DM and ALI213 are the ones to crack Jump Force Ultimate Edition. However, the game being cracked isn’t a surprise since it doesn’t use any form of DRM except for Steam. Those who hate the idea of Denuvo DRM will be happy with the game.

Jump Force Ultimate Edition isn’t the only game to be cracked. Recently, Resident Evil 2 remake was cracked a week after its launch. The game was cracked even though it uses Denuvo DRM to stop piracy.

However, RE2 remake is another addition to the list of games that Denuvo DRM failed to protect. This is kind of similar to Resident Evil 7 launch as it got cracked within 5 days following its launch and it also used Denuvo DRM to protect it from piracy.

When Denuvo was initially introduced, it was almost impossible to crack. This lead to more developers favoring the DRM to protect their games. However, as time passed, hackers have become efficient at cracking it.

According to the company itself, every game is crackable and the DRM is just there to protect initial sales. But the DRM failed to even achieve that goal.

Our goal, and it’s still the goal, is to protect initial sales. Of course, we would like to have it uncracked forever, but that just doesn’t happen in the games industry.

There is a general consensus that Denuvo causes performance to drop in PC games which the reason why many boycott video games that use Denuvo. While it’s true in some cases but in most cases the DRM has no impact on the performance.

From the looks of its, Denuvo is quickly becoming obsolete in the gaming industry. Nowadays, it just takes a few days for hackers to crack a game using Denuvo DRM.

Jump Force is a fighting game featuring characters from anime like One Piece, Naruto, Death Note and more. The game is scheduled to launch on February 15, 2019, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
