Jace Hall Wants Condemned 3 From an Indie Studio

Would you like it if someone was making Condemned 3, the survival horror series from the last decade? It looks like game creator and franchise owner Jace Hall wants it; and he wants some independent studio to make the game.

Actually he has not decided anything so far, but it is something that he is contemplating. He posted on his official Facebook profile asking his followers whether they would want a reboot in the form of Condemned 3.

This was also where he showed interest in finding a suitable indie studio that would bring the franchise back to life again:

There have been 2 game titles released for the franchise, “Condemned: Criminal Origins” and “Condemned: Bloodshot” – they both did well, and I am consistently asked when a third game might be created. Since I am focused on other things, and will be for quite some time, this franchise is just sitting there.

I am contemplating finding an interested and proven Indie development team AND PROVIDING IT TO THEM, so that they can take over the franchise and move it forward.

The last game that released in the series came in 2008 but I am sure people have not forgotten about the game. This also means that an indie studio will have a lot less trouble marketing Condemned 3 – or whatever they decide to call it.

If you look at it that way, it is also a great opportunity for a small group of developers who think that despite having the skills, they have not been able to reach full potential.

With that being said, will you guys like to play another game in the series that has been dormant for over six years?
