If you thought that Intel Coffee Lake price would be the same and that you would get more cores and threads for the same amount of money then you were wrong in thinking so. There have been a couple of Intel Coffee Lake price listings and it seems that prices will be higher across the board.
German retail site LambdaTek has revealed the prices of the Core i7-8700K, Core i7-8700, Core i5-8600K, Core i-8400, Core i3-8350K and Core i3-8100. By the end of this article, you will note that price increase is dramatic and that might change how people look at these CPUs.
The Core i7-8700K is going for 392 Euros which is 14.3% more than the Core i7-7700K which sold for 343 Euros. Core i7-8700 will be sold for 331 Euros, which is 5.4% more than the Core i7-7700 which sold for 314 Euros. Moving on, the Core i5-8600K is going to sell for 277 Euros, which is 16.3% more than the Core i5-7600K which cost 238 Euros.
Next in the Intel Coffee Lake series, we have the Core i5-8400 which will cost 196 Euros. This is 7.1% more than what people paid for the Core i5-7400 at 183 Euros. The price of the Core i3-8350K will be 193 Euros and this is 19.1% higher than the Core i3-7350K which cost 162 Euros. Lastly, we have the Core i3-8100 that will cost 128 Euros compared to the Core i3-7100 at 118 Euros. The Price is 8.4% higher.
Intel Coffee Lake price seems to be higher than 7th generation CPUs. You are getting more cores so the increase in price is not so shocking. But if you thought that Intel Coffee Lake price could be the same then, unfortunately, that is not the case.
