Earlier this week first Intel 10 nm Cannonlake i3-8121U emerged inside Lenovo Ideapad 330 Notebook and now a second 10 nm Intel Cannonlake CPU, Intel M3-8114Y, has emerged on the internet suggesting that Intel is preparing to roll out its 10 nm chip to the consumer market.
This 10 nm Intel Cannonlake CPU was spotted by Twitter user TUM APISAK and is part of the Intel Cannonlake Y family. The Intel M3-8114Y runs at a base clock of 2.2 GHz which compared to previous M3 CPU is better as it had 1.1 GHz of base clock.
However, the boost clock isn’t mentioned but given that 7th gen M3 CPU bosted up to 3 GHz, we are hopeful that the Intel M3-8114Y will feature a boost clock slightly higher than that.
Furthermore, this Intel Cannonlake CPU features an integrated GPU unlike the Core i3-8121U which relies on discrete GPU solution like Radeon RX 540 2 GB in Lenovo Ideapad 330.
Speaking on Intel, the company has finally revealed the specs for Intel Z390 Chipset. According to the official product brief, this chipset will be the first of the overclock-friendly motherboards that will feature same underpins featured in H310, H370 and B360 motherboards, Meaning the Z390 chipset will support 8th gen CPUs along with the upcoming “Cannon Lake” CPUs.
Furthermore, Intel has also revealed its Gold 6138P with integrated Arria 10 FPGA. Xeon Gold 6138P processor comes with “Arria 10 GX 1150” FPGA and features I/O bandwidth of up to 160Gbps per slot.
Intel has announced that it has started mass producing the Intel Xeon Gold 6138P and has also started to ship out the CPU units to suppliers, meaning we will soon start to see these processors in the market.
