Insomniac’s Spiderman Release Date Will Be Revealed Tomorrow Via Game Informer

Insomniac Games’s Spiderman release date will be getting revealed tomorrow via a blurb in Game Informer, according to a tweet by the studio. The game has been without a release date ever since it got announced at E3 2016, but it seems like that time is coming to an end.

The game is one of the first Spiderman games to come out in several years, and being made by a studio like Insomniac, which has developed well-reviewed games like Spyro the Dragon, Ratchet and Clank, and the Resistance series, it will hopefully be just as good as those games were, if not better.

We’ve gotten a good bit of information about the game in the two years since it was first announced at E3 2016, such as how the game would play, what some of the plot points were, and even that there would be a bit of character customization as players could mess around with Peter’s webbing.

Considering that May is going to be a Spiderman month for Game Informer (especially since Spiderman is on this month’s issue), we’ll likely be getting a lot more details about the game this month, though what all we’ll be seeing isn’t clear yet.

There’s also no real telling of what the Spiderman release date will be until it’s actually announced. It could be coming out sometime this summer, or sometime around the 2018 holiday season, though normally games like this don’t appear in Game Informer until they’re pretty close to coming out. God of War was the cover for February, and now that April’s rolled around, that game only has around two weeks before it releases.

Whether this will remain the same for the Spiderman release date remains to be seen, but either way we’ll be getting a lot of details about Spiderman in the coming month, so keep an eye out here and at Game Informer for more.
