Although there was a previous deal which was not honored this is still a good buy. You are getting great value for money and even though Windows Mixed Reality is a new platform, if you are new to VR then this could be the thing for you.

The HP Pavilion Desktop features the AMD Ryzen 5 1400 along with the AMD RX 580 graphics card which is VR-ready. You also get 8 GB of RAM and 1 TB HDD for storage. You also get HP Windows Mixed Reality Headset, which might be a new product but will support Steam. This means that you can play all your games on this headset.

Windows Mixed Reality is a new platform and while the name might be a bit misleading you need to know what you do not get mixed reality right now. This feature will be available in the future but as of right now you can enjoy VR games.
