Horizon Zero Dawn Sequel Would Need More Machines And Great Story: Guerrilla Games

Horizon Zero Dawn has been getting the appreciation of gamers all over the world and the game is as close to perfect as it gets. But what about a second part? Let’s find out.

Surely we cannot expect a sequel to come out anytime soon as Horizon Zero Dawn just came out and it will take at least a year or two for another game to be shown. However, the developers already have ideas for the sequel.

Horizon Zero Dawn

According to the narrative director, John Gonzalez:

We’ve been absolutely humbled by the players’ response to the story and their emotional connection to Aloy. Should a sequel happen, our number one goal would be to respect that connection by doing our utmost to create a story that resonates just as deeply.

If you ask me, I think that it is highly unlikely that the next game will feature a protagonist other than Aloy. I think that is pretty obvious. It will be interesting to see what the developers have in mind for the sequel of Horizon Zero Dawn, provided that there is, in fact, one in the foreseeable future.

According to the game director, Mathijs de Jonge:

that some parts don’t shine quite as brightly as others is something that was kind of inevitable due to the scope. We are looking closely at any critiques as part of plotting out our plans for the future of Horizon.

One thing is for sure if there is another game coming out then the team will be making it close to perfect just like the first installment. It is amazing what the team has managed to achieve and we are looking forward to seeing more.

Let us know what you think about Horizon Zero Dawn and whether or not you are interested in getting a second part of the game.
