Here’s Your First Look At God Eater Resurrection For PS4 and PS Vita

God Eater Resurrection has received some new screenshots courtesy of Famitsu.

God Eater Resurrection, the remake of God Eater Burst, was featured in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine. This gave us our first look at the game and gave  an idea how much things have improved since 2010.

The God Eater remake will release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, with enhanced visuals and new content. Below you can see some screenshots from the game which clearly show some notable visual improvements over the original PSP version.

Bandai Namco is adding a new gameplay mechanic as well, that’s named “Predator Style.” The combat mechanic is described as an overhauled Aragami devouring, and will allow players to dash and jump at high speeds, while using one of five devour actions available in the game.

This is intended to make the game a bit easier to play. According to developers, God Eater Resurrection is 52% complete, so we can expect it to release as planned.

The game is scheduled to release in winter 2015, but a solid release date isn’t mentioned so far. Also, the title is exclusive to Japan with no information about a western localization. Hopefully, we will get more information and an announcement of its arrival in the west.

Latest screenshots are posted below, check them out and let us know if you wish to see the game in the western market.
