Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley Release Date Set

Publisher Natsume announced that Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley is ready for release in North America, where it shall land on November 4, 2014 for $29.99. Additionally, the 3DS game has gone gold, which means development is complete and it shouldn’t run into any delays.

Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley will be different than most of its previous titles. This time, the game’s approach is more pointed towards customization.

It hereby takes inspiration from Minecraft in more ways than one. It allows players to build out their own world, but it also uses blocky pixelated visuals to do so.

Naturally, it’s still possible to plant and grow crops, as well as tending to a farm in general, shearing sheep, herding cows and so on. Players can also depart from the farm and explore the land, where gameplay is open to resource collection.

For resources, it’s possible to chop wood or mine. Alternatively, activities like fishing are also present in the game.

As usual, Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley will have other people in nearby locations that can be helped or befriended. Once more, characters will be open to marriage and it’s even possible to have kids.

You can preorder Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley right now from various outlets, which comes with a free five-inch plushie of a dog. Additionally, Natsume’s own store has an exclusive alternative, a 12-inch bunny, which costs $39.99 instead.

Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley is now a franchise by name alone, as the games previously developed by Marvelous have moved to Xseed Games, who are making their own brand of titles.
