Halo Studio Boss Leaves To Work On Mixed Reality

A staff change is happing in the Halo studio, as studio head Dan Ayoub is leaving 343 Industries to work on mixed reality.

Halo is one of the most popular Xbox exclusive franchises and after Bungie, 343 Industries has taken command of the franchise. 343 Industries’ developed Halo games are not held in high regard compared to Bungie-developed Halo games and now some staff change is happing in the Halo studio, as studio head Dan Ayoub is leaving 343 Industries to work on mixed reality.

Dan Ayoub has been working on the Halo franchise for a long time, and while Halo studio boss is leaving the gaming behind but he is staying at Microsoft to work with the Mixed Reality team. According to the Dan, he will be working in an effort for the “empowerment of education through technology”.

Although Dan will be staying in the Microsoft family, and won’t be heading too far, our 343 family will miss his wit, wisdom, and effort throughout the years. But Halo Wars 2 and its forthcoming DLC are in the safe hands of Dan’s team, with some wonderful DLC and other surprises still to come.

Over the years, Dan has helped us work with amazing studios and partners from literally every corner of the globe. They, like us are going to miss him, and Dan wanted us to express his thanks to both those partners, and to all the Halo fans and community who’ve been the fuel and fire that have ignited his passion and ambition, throughout the years.

Despite Halo 5 being a financial success the game’s single-player campaign was not well recieved and according to the Halo studio, Halo 5 was a learning process for them and Halo 6 will improve upon everything that was wrong with Halo 5.
