In this guide, we have the complete Halo Reach New Alexandria Legendary difficulty walkthrough for you. After you complete the mission Exodus, you will now unlock this mission.
Halo Reach New Alexandria
Halo Reach tells the story of the Noble Team, a group of Spartan supersoldiers desperately trying to protect the Earth-like colony, Reach, from a Covenant alien attack.
In this mission, you will be piloting the Hornet. You will be flying around dealing with stray Banshees while heading to a few waypoints to assist survivors in buildings.
The main objective of this mission revolves around destroying the Comm Jammers that have been spread across the city. However, you’re not being supported by the Noble Team.
Therefore, equip your MA37 Assault Rifle and the M392 Designated Marksman Rifle, and let’s get started!
Board the Falcon
Your Falcon will be your mode of transport for this mission. And the moment you board the Falcon, you’ll realize that you need some serious effort to get rid of all the Banshees around you.
Firing at each and every Banshee that you come across is not a solution. You have the sky at your disposal. Move haphazardly in every direction possible. This would make it more challenging for the antagonists to follow you.
If some Banshees still manage to tailgate you, do a 180-degree turn and take them out before continuing with your journey.
Getting to the Hospital
The first Jammer is located at the hospital. You’ll land on the rooftop and then make your way to the ground floor. Luckily, there’re no enemies on the rooftop. However, there are plenty of them waiting for you inside!
Your M392 rifle should be the weapon of choice while putting down the Brutes, Grunts, Jackals, and Elite Rangers inside the hospital.
While you’re shooting down all the targets, keep an eye on the floor for the ammo. Collect all the ammo that you can so you don’t run out when you come across the Brute Captain on the ground floor. However, if you feel like your DMR is not doing a very good job, look around for a needler.
The Jammer that you’re looking for is located in a big hall with all kinds of Brutes defending it. Take them down, and look around for a Plasma Repeater. It should be found on one of the bodies.
Next, head back to the Jammer and collect the Jet Pack. With the job here being completed, you need to head back to your Falcon. However, it won’t be that easy.
There are a couple of Skirmisher snipers and Elite Ultra waiting for you to return. Pick a Plasma Rifle on your way back to take care of them.
The next waypoint is at Club Errera. Fly toward the blue waypoint.
Near the landing pad of the building, clear out the enemies around it before landing your craft. Destroy 3 anti-aircraft batteries to unlock the I Didn’t Train to Be a Pilot achievement.
After landing, head inside the building and clear the room of enemies. Swap out your Assault Rifle for a Needle Rifle if you want.
Once you move to the lower room with the Hunters, a timer starts. You don’t have to kill the Hunters. However, there is a jammer in this room that can be shut down using the jump jet.
After a certain amount of time, the switch will become active with an orange waypoint on it, or you can kill the hunters to makes it easier to activate the switch once it is available. Return outside and get back into the Hornet to head to the next waypoint.
Facing out from the landing pad at Club Errera of New Alexandria mission, look for the nearest tall building to your right. You will need to eliminate the enemies atop that building.
The Additional Objective
For the next part of the New Alexandria mission, you will be tasked with an escort job and should see a yellow waypoint. Fly over to it and begin escorting the other Hornet across the area.
You’ll have to take out Banshees and AA guns atop the buildings as you go. Destroy the AA guns and defeat the banshees, and after you do it, you will get a checkpoint and be done with your escort as the other Hornet will break away.
The Last Jammer
Now your task will be to assist marines who will ask for your help over the radio. The objective will update, and a new waypoint will appear.
When you reach the area, clear the landing spot by eliminating the threats in the area. The Jammer that you’re looking for is located upstairs. It has an Active Camouflage nearby that will make your job considerably easy.
You do not have to defeat every single enemy in the building. Let your camouflage do the trick for you. Destroy the Jammer and get going
Now turn around and head back to the elevator that has a new orange waypoint on it.
Once upstairs, exit out into your Hornet. Fly to the waypoint at the Oni building. There will be six AA turrets atop the buildings surrounding the Oni building, which you will be tasked to destroy.
Take them out, dealing with any Banshees that interrupt the operation. Once they’re all destroyed, you’ll get a new waypoint at the VTOL pad on Olympic Tower, so head over and land to end the mission.
This will be the end of the New Alexandria mission. You will unlock the Dust and Echoes achievement.
To complete this mission flawlessly, you do not necessarily have to defeat every single enemy out there. If you get the chance to complete the objective without engaging in a battle, go for it.
While going out on a ride, make sure your Falcon is not about to give up. If it looks like it would stop working any moment now, call a new one. And once you’re on the Falcon, keep moving. If you hover in one place, you’ll be an easy target.
While making a landing or taking off, look around for nearby enemies. They can destroy your Falcon in no time. The enemies include turrets as well!
However, if you decide to play the game in a less challenging setting, your Falcon will last longer, and fuel rods won’t be a problem anymore.
