Halo Infinite Trailer We Saw at E3 is an Engine Demo, Not the Actual Game

Halo Infinite trailer we saw at E3 2018 was nothing more than a Tech Demo. Actual gameplay footage will be shown at a later date.

Halo Infinite trailer gave us the very first look at the 6th mainline Halo game. But according to the official website of Halo, it was not representative of the final game. While that is a little disappointing to know, the website also confirmed 4K Ultra HD and HDR for Halo Infinite.

The game will look its best on Xbox One X but there is good news for PC gamers as well. The title is coming to Windows 10 so with enough horsepower under your rig you get the best out of Halo. The game is being developed using the new Slipspace Engine and we’ll see the Master Chief at the helm once more.

The Master Chief returns in Halo Infinite – the next chapter of the legendary franchise. Developed by 343 Industries and created with our new Slipspace Engine, Halo Infinite was revealed at the Xbox E3 2018 Briefing with a thrilling engine demo that provides a glimpse into the future of the Halo franchise, leading it into new and unexpected directions.

There is very little we know about the game so expect more details and actual gameplay footage in the coming months.  Microsoft’s first-party games have been lacking substance but after losing this console-gen to PS4, the company is making sure it is prepared for the next Xbox.
