Tekken 7 Akuma Story Mode Revealed In A New Gameplay Video

While no release date is set for Tekken 7 to release on PC and consoles, Bandai Namco is revealing new details abut the game. This Time Bandai Namco has revealed Tekken 7 Akuma Story mode in a new gameplay video.

Bandia Namco had a demo of the upcoming Tekken 7 at PAX West 2016 and the beginning of Akuma’s Story mode was also showcased during the stage event.

The gameplay video showcases the begining for Tekken 7 Akuma Story Mode. The video starts with Heihachi Mishima sitting alone in Mishima Dojo, and then Akuma appears to challenge Heihachi Mishima to fulfill the prosime he once made to Kazumi.

The visuals for Tekken 7 are breathtaking and many would be excited to see that game moves seamlessly from cutscene to gameplay.

Recently Katsuhiro Harada said that e-Sports and fighting game are made for each other.

Personally, I think that eSports and fighting games are a good match. If you look at other genres, for example shooters or MOBAs, they’re largely team-based, right?

A fighting game is one on one, and I think that really draws out the player’s personality and because of that it’s more fun to watch – it can end up being kind of like a boxing match or something, where you have these strong rivalries and a lot of salt when people win or lose. I think they lend themselves well to spectating and the world of eSports as a whole

He also revealed that the development team for Tekken 7 is also considering paid DLC for the game, as more and more players don’t mind paying extra for the additional content.

Recently with the digital purchases and such a lot of people, the players especially, are saying that they don’t mind paying, that they still want to see some new content after release. So since the voices are becoming more and more larger, I guess you could say, it is something that we want to think about seriously and perhaps change our point of view.

Tekken 7 is scheduled to launch sometime in 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
