God of War: Ascension Gorgon Eyes Locations Guide – The Eyes Have It

Spartans! It’s time for some more Gorgon Eyes, this time in God of War: Ascension, and like always they’ll help beef up Kratos’s health.

If you want Kratos to survive his mortal experience, then it’s best to find as many of these eyes as you can. Unfortunately, they won’t be laid like a red carpet in front of you, so you’ll need to look in every nook and corner of Greece.

God of War: Ascension Gorgon Eyes Locations

Luckily, we have a guide for you to ease the unnecessary searching. Here’s where and how you’ll find all the 20 Gorgon Eyes:

Gorgon Eye #1 – Chapter 5: The Village of Kirra
Location. After walking through the narrow rocky path, you will enter a separate section of the village. Here, you’ll have the option of turning right or going forward. Choose to go right and follow the path, at the end of which is two chests. One of these contains the first Gorgon Eye.

Gorgon Eye #2 – Chapter 5: The Village of Kirra
Location. After getting the first eye, continue forward. You’ll encounter another area which has a fork, this time giving the option of going forward or left. Instead of going left, continue forward through the arched path. There will be a crank there; pass it and check out the back area to find a chest.

Gorgon Eye #3 – Chapter 5: The Village of Kirra
Location. Once you have passed the dead cattle and have jumped down to a new part of the village, look into the back to find a small building with a ledge that can be climbed. Use it to get up on the roof, where you will find the white chest with the eye.

Location. When you pull down a pillar, the camera will readjust itself towards a door with statues. Instead of going up, go back into the foreground and search on the right side for an open door. Further right is an open building, and through the windows you should spot a couple of chests, of which one is white.

Location. After collecting the previous eye, leave the building and continue on going right. There is a bridge, which you should cross, and you will return to the roller puzzle. You need to pull the back-most switches on the left and right side in the center, which will reveal a few platforms. Climb them to find the chests.

Gorgon Eye #6 – Chapter 6: The Cistern
Location. Once you get to the room with the bull head statue, climb up the ledges to get to the duct above. Run into the foreground and you should find a couple of chests.

Gorgon Eye #7 – Chapter 6: The Cistern
Location. Once you are in the exterior area, move on ahead and you should find a health and magic chest. Another white chest is located immediately to the right of these chests.

Gorgon Eye #8 – Chapter 7: The Tower of Delphi
Location. When you are at the exterior of the tower, Kratos will spot a ladder leading upward. Instead of climbing up the ladder, run past it and you should find a couple of chests.

Gorgon Eye #9 – Chapter 7: The Tower of Delphi
Location. While climbing the snakes, Kratos will run pass an opening in the snake. Run through it to find a couple of chests.

Gorgon Eye #10 – Chapter 8: The Python’s Belly
Location. As soon as the chapter begins, back into the foreground and go right. You should find two hidden chests there.

Gorgon Eye #11 – Chapter 10: The Temple of Delphi
Location. When you enter the temple, you will see stairways leading to two white statues. Use the shining device on the left, and the area will turn into a deteriorated state. Now, cross the room and attack the double doors to the right. You will find a couple of chests there.

Gorgon Eye #12 – Chapter 10: The Temple of Delphi
Location. When you are in the darkened chamber with two sets of stairs to the left and right, take the right path up and follow to find a new set of stairs. Go up these stairs and through the open door on the right. Push the statue in the center to decay the room. There should be a new platform now; jump on it and go into the caged room to find the chests.

Gorgon Eye #13 – Chapter 10: The Temple of Delphi
Location. Once you get the previous eye, go back to the start with the two set of stairs to the left and right. This time take the left path. Go into the room to the left, push the statue in the center to make the place decay, and then push the statue of the panel again to make it normal. During this short period of transition, the caged areas will open, which have the chest.

Gorgon Eye #14 – Chapter 11: Delphi Catacombs
Location. After your platform falls and you crash through the doors, back up into the foreground and you should find the chest.

Gorgon Eye #15 – Chapter 14: The Cistern
Location. On the main path of the chapter, you should spot the chest far down the water pathway. If you jump down, you will miss it, so continue down the water and you should find a way to it.

Gorgon Eye #16 – Chapter 15: The Grotto
Location. When you are in the water-filled chamber under a waterfall, dive under and then go to the right. You should come across a hidden path that leads to a couple of white chests.

Gorgon Eye #17 – Chapter 15: The Grotto
Location. When you are near the stoned pathway during the cavern dock area, run to the left to a gated building left of the visible ship.

Gorgon Eye #18 – Chapter 17: Martyr’s Chamber
Location. When you are trying to solve the puzzle involving dumping the body to raise caged platform, don’t run down the main path after accessing the left door with the chests. Instead, run into the foreground and you should find the hidden white chest right of the two other chests.

Gorgon Eye #19 – Chapter 18: Delo’s Landing
Location. When you are in the room with the large chains and gears, pull the lever on the right side, and then push the large block to stop the gear. Climb the teeth of the gear to reach a high ledge, which will have the chest.

Gorgon Eye #20 – Chapter 21: The Forearm of Apollo
Location. At the beginning of the chapter, take the lift up and run into the foreground after getting off the elevator. You will need to jump here to get to a ledge, which has three chests.
