FromSoftware Working on a New Game with Game of Thrones’ George R.R. Martin?

According to the reports, FromSoftware has already started working on its next game and interestingly, it’s in collaboration with Game of Thrones’ George RR Martin (author of A Song of Ice and Fire series).

The above rumor was narrated by a Youtuber “Spawn Wave”. Later it was supported by a known insider and journalist, Liam Robertson. Robertson promises to investigate it further in order to provide new information. It’s expected to be revealed at E3 2019. It will be published by Bandai Namco once again. Above all, he says that the next rumored project can even turn out to be not a video game which we all are expecting it to be.

From what’s being said, it’s going to be an open world game with several kingdoms open for your exploration. The protagonist of the game will be able to learn new skills and abilities by taking down the leaders of various kingdoms. This information makes the game sound a lot like Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.

Do take this all with a grain of salt as there’s no confirmation. From is expected to be working on at least two new games. If that’s the case, one of them could be this new game which we mentioned above.

This comes after the recent rumors of Bloodborne 2 being in development. The Bloodborne sequel was referenced in Deracine ( a virtual reality game) making everyone think that it’s coming. These rumors were later shot down by Hidetaka Miyazaki and Yasuhiro Kitao. They said that this reference was nothing but a tribute to the game. It just blew up unexpectedly.

It’s still quite possible to be the next game from the developer as Bloodborne is still considered one of the best RPG games. The team can continue to deliver what the fans want following the success of Sekiro Shadows Die Twice. If it comes, it’s going to be exclusive to PS4 once again.

Until then, we advise you all to play Sekiro which has managed to please all the fans as there’s not a single or mixed review of the game on Metacritic. The game provides the same level of difficulty liked by the players of Bloodborne and Dark Soul games.

All we have to do is to wait till E3 2019, where we can expect an announcement of this new project with an appearance of George RR Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki on the stage.
