Side quests are an excellent way to rank in some extra EXP points and gold for extra items. We have listed 29 side quests that you can finish while on your journey to defeat monsters, bandits and something even more sinister?!
The most important side quests in the game are Paralogues so let’s start off with them. Paralogues can give handsome rewards for example some hero relic gear, overpowered battalions and much more.
We’ll get into all the paralogues and their rewards but first you need to know of the requirements these paralogues have. If you want to start a particular paralogue you will need to recruit the specific person who is the key character in the paralogue. Some paralogue require two characters then you have to recruit them both to undertake the paralogue. Paralogues don’t stay in the game forever and are not available at any time. They will appear at a certain point and they will go away at a certain point. Some paralogues are available before the timeskip and some are available after the timeskip.
Do bear in mind that if you want rewards like Hero’s Relics you will need the specific character in your party to acquire it. Ok without further Ado let’s get it all the paralogues and their rewards. The paralogues are categorized in two Pre-Timeskip and Post-Timeskip.

Fresh Catch
Rewards: Albinean Herring x3, Caledonian Gar x3, Insect Larva x5, +300 Renown
You can get this quest from Flayn. Head to the kitchen and you will find Flayn. To complete this quest, head to the fishing pond and speak to the local fish keeper. He will ask you to catch a fish.
Catching fish is pretty easy. Wait for the fish to bite the bait, and when it does, press A. Catch the fish and you will be rewarded for this mini-quest.
Green Thumb Beginnings
Rewards: Mixed Herb Seeds x5, Western Foldan Seeds x5, Tomato x4, Renown +300
Head back to your room’s door, and you will find Dedue standing outside your room. Talk to him and he will give you the Green Thumb Beginnings side-quest.
The green thumb garden can be found on the south-west corner of the map. Enter the garden and talk to the lady who is taking care of the plants. She will give you permission to plant the seeds. Plant Dedue’s Seeds. This will complete the objective.
Share a Bite
Rewards: Airmid Goby x3, Onion x4, Turnip x4, Renown +300
Head to the main entrance of the dormitories and you will find Sylvain standing there. He will give you a quest where you will have to go on a food date with anyone.
First, head to the kitchen and speak to the staff members. You will be provided with the food menu and names of potential students you can share a meal with. Choosing the food and any student will complete this side quest.
A Passion for Music
Rewards: Chickpeas x1, White Trout x1, Peach Currant x1, Renown +300
Head into the Chapel and speak to the main Choir Coordinator there. She will give you this quest. The main objective here will be to find someone who has a lot of interest in music.
Head to the Blue Lion dormitories and start scavenging for a couple of barrels aligned together. They should be somewhere just outside the dorm. Near the barrels should be a choir list for students who are interested in joining the choir.
Creative Cuisines
Rewards: Teutates Pike x1, Morfis Plum x1, Duscur Bear x1, Renown +300
Head to the kitchen and talk to the Head Chef. She needs some old recipes that can only be found in the library. Head to the library and find three sparkling spots. After collecting all three recipes, head back to the Head Chef to complete the quest.
Troubling Rumors
Rewards: Leather Shield x1, Steel Sword x1, Root Vegetable Seeds x5, Renown +200
Head back to the Chapel again and talk to Seteth. He will require that you go and collect information for him and report back. The location should be marked on the map. Head there and
You will be able to find what you are looking for. Return back to Seteth to complete the mini-quest.
Learning from the Best
Rewards: To be Added
Find the Faith and Swords instructor Manuela – and talk to her. Do her bidding and you will be handsomely rewarded.
Lost? Found!
Rewards: To be Added
Find Jeralt and talk to him. He will want you to find a certain item. This item is on the second floor of the building you are currently in.
Head to the second floor, and near the big doors should be a shiny item dropped on the ground. Pick it up and return it to Jeralt.
Words of Wisdom
Rewards: Steel Bow x1, Albinean Berries x4, Pond Snail x5, Renown +300
Find Mercedes and talk to her. She will give you a quest where you will have to find information on the problems in the monastery. The best lead is the counselor, who should be in the cathedral.
Head to the first floor of the cathedral and to the left side of the room should be our main lead. Talk to him to complete the quest.
Tea for Two

This may be the dumbest Fire Emblem: Three Houses side quest. I mean, who doesn’t love tea? Apparently not many people in the magical world of Fire Emblem. Find Ferdinand and talk to him. He wants you to find someone who loves tea.
Head to the fishing area and you will find Lorenz, the only guy who fits Ferdinand’s description. Talking to Lorenz will complete the objective.
In Hiding

Some thieves are up-to no good again, and they are hiding somewhere. Seteth would like to know their location. Talk to Seteth and head into the Knights Area.
You will find a bookshelf that holds the blue key that reveals the thieves’ location. Pick it up and give it to Seteth to complete your task.
Only the Bold
Rewards: To be Added
This is a battle-only quest. Talk to Caspar and win the tournament to complete this quest.
Tending to the Saints
Rewards: Caledonian Crayfish x3, Peach Currant x4, Verona x1, Renown +300
Talk to Flayn and you will be asked to do a little chore in the Saint room. Head into the Saint room and pick up all the stones. This will clear your objective.
Maintaining your Training
Rewards: To be Added
Seteth has a concern about whether you are keeping up with your physical training or not. He wants you to commit a battle. You will have a free day to complete this objective.
Forge the Way
Rewards: To be Added
Head to the Blacksmith to pick up your next side quest. The blacksmith will ask you to find a specific item. It should be marked on the map. Pick it up and return to the blacksmith. As a reward, you will be able to do blacksmithing.
Clearing the Way
Rewards: To be Added
Prepare your arsenal for this mini-quest. Talk to the merchant and he will want you to protect his goods by heading up Magdred Way and eliminating several bandits. You have a full free day to complete this task.
Herbal Remedies
Rewards: To be Added
Talk to Rhea who has some concerns about student’s health. Head to the two markers and talk to the students to give them medicine to improve their health. This will complete the mini-quest.
Herbs Fit for a Horse
Rewards: To be Added
Head to the Chapel and you will find Marianne. She wants you to find some medicinal herbs, which should be located in a greenhouse. Head there and pick up some herbs to complete your side quest.
Special Delivery
Rewards: To be Added
Head into the training hall and talk to stranger female students. One of them will give you a quest where you will have to deliver a love letter to Cyril. Return to the girl after delivering to complete your objective.
Fishing Tournament
Rewards: To be Added
Head to Shamir and she will give you a quest where you will have to catch a Teautates Herring for Flayn. After catching one, talk to Flayn. This will complete your side quest.
Banish the Bandits
Rewards: To be Added
Eliminate a specified amount of bandits to complete this quest. You will have a full free day to complete this objective.
Carried Away
Rewards: To be Added
This is a quest where you will have to deliver another love letter. Deliver the love letter to Alois and return to the sender to complete your request.
The Best of the Best
Rewards: To be Added
Prove your mettle against the Knights of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus.
Catherine’s Request
Rewards: To be Added
Talk to Catherine to receive this quest. She wants you to find a two-toned whetstone. To complete this quest, you will need to find and give items to a lot of people. You will find a Crestological Mysteries book near Catherine. Give it to Hanneman.
Find the Tome of Comely Saints and give it to Manuela. Next, find the Fire Amulet and give it to Cyril. Cyril will give you the Glowing Stone. Mercedes needs the Glowing Stone & will give you the Path of Dawn in return.
Give the Path of Dawn to Marianne, to receive eye drops. Drop the eye drops with Linhardt and he will give you the Two-Toned Whetstone.
Give it to Catherine to finally complete this tradefest of a quest. Catherine will reward you with a Silver Weapon too.
Shamir’s Request
Rewards: To be Added
Same as Catherine. You can talk to either Catherine or Shamir. The outcome and rewards are the same.
Secret Messenger
Rewards: To be Added
You will need to deliver a love letter to Rhea. She is the girl from the gifts menu. After giving her the love letter, return to the dude that gave you this side quest to complete it.
The Missing Students
Rewards: To be Added
Talk to Seteth to start this side quest. You will have to head to the markers and investigate about the students who have gone missing.
Something to Prove
Rewards: To be Added
Talk to Felix and he will give you this quest. You will have to fight to complete this quest.
The White Heron Cup
Rewards: Morfis Plum x2, Lavender Blend x2, Renown +500, +500 Gold
You can find this quest from Rhea. You must already know of her whereabouts. This is a dance competition where you will have to dance. Just give them dance lessons and win the competition. The winner gets Dancer class.
Adventures in Wood Carving
Rewards: Black-Sand Steel x2, Wootz Steel x1, Goddess Statuette x1, Renown +300
Talk to Gibert and he will give you a quest to find a book on woodcarving. You can find the book in the room next to Bernadetta. Pick the book up and give it to Gilbert. This completes your side quest.
The Cream of the Crop

This should be the final side quest in the game. It is a battle quest – you will have to battle to complete it. You will have a full free day to complete this task.
