Final Fantasy XV PC Benchmarks Reveals How Well The Game Runs With Nvidia Works Switched Off

We tested Final Fantasy XV PC with the AMD Ryzen 1700, 16 GB of RAM with the Nvidia GTX 1060 3 GB. This game is not very CPU intensive.

Final Fantasy XV benchmarking tool has been released and we have had some time to test it out. While we are still in the middle of testing we do have something to show you. It seems that the game runs better with the Nvidia Gameworks options turned off. Things might be better when the game comes out and we get day one drivers but for now, it is what it is.

We tested Final Fantasy XV PC with the AMD Ryzen 1700, 16 GB of RAM with the Nvidia GTX 1060 3 GB. This game is not very CPU intensive so the 8 cores and 16 threads will not be worth much here. The mid-tier graphics card is what we are going to look at in this benchmark. We tested the card with both the Nvidia Gameworks on and off and the difference is pretty amazing.

You can check out the result with the Nvidia Works on:

With the Nvidia features turned on the score does not even reach 4000 but with the feature turned off the scored increased by more than 2000 points which you can check out below:

With the Nvidia features turned off you will be able to run the game with a GTX 1060 3 GB at high settings at 1080p without any kind of issues. At least that is what the benchmark tells us. We will let you know more about the gameplay and performance of different cards when the game comes out and we have the chance to test the actual game.

We also tested the benchmark using an Intel CPU, the 7600K at stock speeds and this time we used the Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 GAMING at stock speeds as well. You can check out how well the combination works with Nvidia Gameworks turned on below:

You can see that the performance is pretty good but the score goes up a lot when the Gameworks are turned off. You can check that out in the image included below:

Both benchmarks have been run at 1080p in full-screen mode and you can see the difference for yourself. Luckily this should not be an issue when the game comes out and all this will be fixed by then.

The game has been out on console and if you think that consoles do not do it justice and that you need more graphics options then be sure to check out the game on PC when it comes out. Stay tuned in order to learn more about Final Fantasy XV PC benchmarks and how well the game runs on other hardware.

The game seems to be well optimized for PC and it is safe to say that if you have decent hardware and your expectations are not too high then you will be able to play this game. Modern day hardware should be able to run this game at decent settings but if you are an enthusiast then you should be able to take full advantage of the beauty of the game at 4K.
