Final Fantasy 7 Remake Will Arrive With 2 Discs

New details about Final Fantasy 7 Remake and its gameplay have been revealed. In Square Enix’s E3 2019 press conference, we saw a new gameplay trailer of the game along with a confirmation that Final Fantasy 7 Remake will arrive with 2 discs.

After revealing the new Final Fantasy 7 Remake trailer, Producer Kitase took the stage to announce that the game will come on two Blu-Ray discs due to the game’s focus on the city of Midgar.

For those who don’t know, the orignal game arrived on three discs so 2 is definitely better than one. With that confirmed, we can expect the download size of digital Final Fantasy 7 Remake to be massive.

As for Square Enix’s E3 2019 press conference, it gave us an extensive look at the game’s combat along with several trailers and videos. Interested folks can pre-order Final Fantasy 7 Remake now. Pre-ordering Final Fantasy 7 Remake will grant players free access to the Chocobo Chick Summon Materia DLC. There are a total of three Final Fantasy 7 Remake Editions currently available for pre-order including Final Fantasy 7 Remake standard edition, FF7 Remake Deluxe edition, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake 1st Class edition.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake 1st Class edition will cost you $330 and it includes the following items.

As for the game trailer, it showed us Cloud in different combat scenarios attacking, dodging and blocking in real time. A boss battler with the game’s Scorpion Sentinel was also part of the live stream. We also got our first look at Tifa Lockhart from the upcoming remake. Tifa Lockhart’s character model has received some changes but overall she looks a lot like her original design.

In the end, Square Enix finally revealed the release date of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Final Fantasy 7 Remake is set to release sometime during March 2020 exclusively for Sony’s PlayStation 4. A demo for the game has already been leaked but Square Enix hasn’t confirmed its existance yet for PlayStation Plus Subscribers.
