20th Century Fox released an international trailer of Fantastic Four which includes new footage and glimpses of Sue Storm and Johnny Storm.
Josh Trank’s reboot released a domestic trailer earlier that did not differ a lot from this new international one. This trailer gives insight to what these superheroes sacrificed in order to discover and re-invent.
Invisible Girl aka Sue Storm (Kate Mara) and Human Torch-Johnny Storm (Michael B. Jordan) have more defined powers in this adaption of the original Marvel Comics. In the comics, Sue was never defined with specific powers it was left to wild imaginations.
In this version, Sue is portrayed as the strongest of the four, although she is often considered the weakest in the pack. The Storm siblings will also go through a rough patch in the upcoming movie to resolve some old rivalry. However, they will fight back (together) in hopes of defeating the enemy.
The official synopsis of the Fantastic Four says:
A contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
Ben Grimm (The Thing) played by Jamie Bell and Miles Teller as Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic will accompany Michael B. Jordan and Kate Mara. Fantastic Four will premiere on Apr. 7, 2015.
