Fallout 76 Xbox One X Graphics Analysis Reveal a Downgrade From Fallout 4

Recent stress test of the game has revealed that Fallout 76 Xbox One X graphics are a downgrade when compared to Fallout 4. Some lucky players in North America had the chance to try Fallout 76 stress test and some of them were left disappointed due to the state of its graphics.

Just a month remains and it’s now confirmed that Bethesda has to do a lot of work to gain the trust of the Fallout fans. This information comes from Digital Foundry’s graphical test.

According to which Fallout 76 Xbox One X graphics are in a danger zone as it’s lower than the lowest numbers of Fallout 4.

Xbox One X is one of the most powerful consoles in the market so it’s definitely something to be worried about. Though, keep in mind that these graphical downgrades could be a result of a pre-launch build.

Fallout 4 managed to run at 4K resolution on Xbox One X but Fallout 76 hardly manage to achieve about 75% of that resolution.

That’s not all. textures of the game are being called “glaringly low-resolution” with uncommon oversaturation.

It’s not the final product but Bethesda isn’t known for optimizing the launch builds. Still, we hope that these issues with the game will be solved at sooner than later. We will have to try out the upcoming beta to find out the actual representation of the game.

Other than that, Fallout 76 ammo weighs a lot less as compared to Fallout 4. Bobby pins finally have a weight now and will restrict you from carrying a lot as there are no companions this time.

As for the game, it’s going to feature mods just like previous games in the series but won’t be available at launch. According to Pete Hines, mods will not arrive until November of 2019. Mods will be present on all platforms including Xbox One X and PS4.

If you have pre-ordered the game, you will be able to play its beta at the end of this month starting with Xbox One followed by Ps4 and PC.

Fallout 76 will release on November 14, 2018, for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
