Fallout 4 Update 1.6 Beta Live On Steam, ExitSave and More

The Fallout 4 update 1.6 beta has been released on Steam by Bethesda, allowing players that download said beta to get the first look at the upcoming features that the update promises. In order to look at the beta for yourself, all you have to do is go to the properties menu and opt into the beta version.

The Fallout 4 update 1.6 beta will be bringing a lot of new features to the game. To start off, new features include an ExitSave, which comes up when you exit the game and go to the main menu.

When you load the save in, it will automatically disappear. New add-on specific icons in Steam’s Workshop have also been added in, along with support for upcoming add-ons.
The Fallout 4 update 1.6 beta also includes a large number of fixes to various issues in the game.

These include various stability and performance updates, fixing a crash related to targeting an enemy in VATS, and two issues that keep both the Sole Survivor and any companions they have from getting stuck in certain places.

Other fixes that come with the update include the “Boston After Dark” quest now completing itself, and a glitch that would make players permanently invisible. You will also no longer be “accidentally” deleting multiple saves when you’re just trying to delete one, fixing problems with mods that didn’t come from the Bethesda.net website, and won’t be able to assign dead settlers to supply routes.

It’s likely that after the Fallout 4 update 1.6 beta is over, Bethesda will start working to bring the patch to the other consoles that Fallout 4 is able to be played on. Hopefully, after the patch has been installed on PC, Bethesda can get back to work on the issues that are keeping Playstation players from being able to experience the mods that Xbox One players have already been experiencing.
