Elden Ring Is Coming To Gamescom 2019, Not For Public Though

From Software's Elden Ring will be shown at Gamescom 2019, according to a popular Russian video game news publication Igromania.

From Software’s Elden Ring will be present at Gamescom 2019 in some capacity, according to a new report. The information comes from a popular Russian video game news publication Igromania.

The Russian site recently mentioned that Bandai Namco Entertainment plans to show Elden Ring at Gamescom 2019. But the site didn’t reveal if the demo of the game will be available for the public to see or not.

It is most likely that Elden Ring will be shown privately. Of course, you should take these findings with a grain of salt. From Software and Bandai Namco have yet to announce if the game will be present at Gamescom 2019 or not.

As we reported before, Bandai Namco has revealed the lineup of its games coming to Gamescom this year. But there wasn’t any mention of Elden Ring.

Here’s the list of Bandai Namco games that will be playable at Gamescom 2019.

  • Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
  • Code Vein
  • One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4
  • The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan
  • One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows
  • Rad
  • Disney Tsum Tsum

Those interested in the above games should look-out for Bandai Namco public booth at HALL 6, A40/B40.

We saw the first Elden Ring trailer at E3 2019. You can check out the reveal trailer of the game below.

The details about the upcoming game are scarce at the moment. Elden Ring is a collaboration between Hidetaka Miyazaki and Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire writer George R.R. Martin. It’s confirmed that the game will feature horseback riding.

Further, Elden Ring’s gameplay and the story is similar to Dark Souls but will play out differently because of the game’s open-world design.

“With a more open and vast environment, the way combat plays out becomes fundamentally different,” Miyazaki said.

Further, it’s confirmed that the game will feature everything that fans like about From Software games. Keeping that mind, expect to die a lot once again in Elden Ring when it releases.

There’s no Elden Ring release date available. Thus, it’s very likely that the game will release on next-generation consoles like Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft’s Xbox One.

Meanwhile, Elden Ring fans have Gamescom 2019 to look out for which will start on August 20, 2019, and will end on Aug 24, 2019.
