EA is Fine With Star Wars Battlefront 2 Mods As Long As They Do Not Interfere With Gameplay

Star Wars Battlefront 2 mods may soon flood the internet and EA seems to be OK with it. However, official support is still not available at the time.

EA has been under fire for a lot of things and members of the gaming community took jabs at the company in their own unique ways. Some fans refused to invest in Battlefront 2 while some just wanted to troll EA on the internet. Meanwhile, the community is out to get some laughs at EA’s expense as well by developing odd Star Wars Battlefront 2 mods.

Just days ago, one of the modders posted a Pink Dark Vader mod for Star Wars Battlefront 2. The mod was in reply to Blake Jorgensen’s statement about the lack of cosmetics in Battlefront 2. Pink Darth Vader took a direct shot at EA and could pave way for others to do the same.

And in a surprising twist of events, EA, instead of fighting back, is OK with such mods and might end up handling them better. According to a recent post on EA’s forum, the company is “OK” with Battlefront 2 mods.

So long as the mods do not change how the game functions and are just for visual effect then you should be OK.

Modding Battlefront 2 is something that isn’t officially supported for now. However, you can mess around with the game files to run the best Battlefront 2 mods.

There aren’t many available right now but soon there will be now that the discussion has started, thanks to the popularity of the Pink Darth Vader.

Interestingly, the creator of Pink Darth Vader is also working on a White Darth Vader. There is no release date for it but it will be available soon.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game can be downloaded from your machine’s online store or at your nearest retail.
