If you are old enough and have been gaming since your early days, Dungeons & Dragons must be a name that would make you nostalgic.
The original Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara was released way back in 1996 by Capcom and now, we have its reboot for the modern-day gaming machines. Although the game has been rebooted, the classic touch of the side-scroller remains intact.
The game just got released on PC along with the other Platforms and the fans of Dungeons & Dragons aren’t going to miss this opportunity.
Although it’s not an AAA title requiring high end PCs but still, there can be some issues (bugs,errors,crashes) that can spoil the fun for you. The support team is keeping an eye on the reported problems and we are expected to see a patch soon enough.

#1 Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara Controller Issue
If you have a non-Microsoft controller and you it doesn’t seem to work with the game and then you should know that there are some compatibility issues with the third party gamepads/controllers.
You can use the third party configuration tools to make windows think that you are using an Xbox controller.
#2 Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara Lag and Connection Issues
If you are having connection/lag issues then you can do the following to make your experience better:
- Make sure that your firewall/security software is not blocking the game.
- If you are behind a router, try restarting it.
- Also make sure that in the background, you are not running any application that can conflict with the game.
- Restarting Steam can also fix the issue.
#3 The Game Doesn’t Support Windows XP/Directx 9
Like it or not, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara won’t support Windows XP OS. So if you are using one, you can’t play the game.

Have you restarted Steam since you installed the game? If you haven’t, do so and the issue can be resolved.

First, you should make sure that cloud save is enabled.
If that’s not a problem, I will recommend that you verify your game files and start a new game to see if there were any corrupted files in your installation and if verification fixes the issue or not.
